Founder's Note
Baroda has long been a vibrant hub for Indian art, with a rich legacy that dates back to the early 20th century. As my hometown, it holds deep personal meaning, and supporting its dynamic artistic community has been a lifelong passion.
For over 15 years, Space Studio has served as a platform for more than 250 artists—offering them space to create, connect, and share their work with the world. Our studio spaces are part of the Alembic Art District, a visionary initiative by Udit Amin, designed to provide Barodians with a place to relax, engage, and immerse themselves in a thriving cultural environment in the middle of Baroda city. This endeavour is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to nurturing creativity and honouring Baroda’s enduring legacy as a centre for arts and culture.
